Roland Sands SAS-TEC The intelligent protection armour is constructed from smart molecules: in case of an impact the armour will rapidly freeze and harden, absorbing the shock and distributing it over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. Due to its intelligent design, SAS-TEC highly flexible visco-elastic soft foam protector provides superior damping performance even at low temperatures. The extremely flat construction is nearly invisible under garments. The back protector has been developed in collaboration between Roland Sands Design (RSD) and SAS-TEC and is a proprietary shape only available from RSD. This unique shape allows it to be usable in all legacy RSD jackets. All SAS-TEC armor meets CE EN 1621-1:2012 standards.
