Each member of the Quantum family has its own distinct flair the falls within the DNA of their design language, and the Quantum 3 Jacket is no exception. Compared to its predecessor, this jacket is more street than race-oriented as can be seen by the absence of a speed hump and elbow sliders. But the sport elements are still at its core including a tight race fit, Quantum series computer-glitch inspired graphics and hard shoulder parts. SEEFLEX armor is found at the shoulders and elbows with accommodations for optional SEESOFT back or divided chest protection. For optimal comfort, this jacket has stretch in all the right places to compliment its figure-hugging fit.

  During the Darmstadt abrasion test, the materials in Zone 1 of a AAA-rated garment are subjected to a much higher rotational speed of approximately 707.4 rpm. This simulates a slide on a concrete surface at a road speed of approximately 75 mph (120 km/h). The material passes the test if it does not develop a hole larger than 5mm in any direction after the abrasion. This demanding requirement provides riders with the highest level of assurance that their gear is built to withstand the intense forces of a high-speed slide, offering critical protection when it is needed most.
